Justin Timberlake Allegedly Refused Breathalyzer During DWI Arrest
Justin Timberlake reportedly refused to take a breathalyzer test when pulled over by police after a night out in New York. The 43-year-old pop star, who was dining with friends at The American Hotel in Sag Harbor, allegedly drove off in his BMW UT before being stopped minutes later for traffic violations. Sources indicate that the arresting officer did not recognize Timberlake initially, prompting friends to intervene unsuccessfully on his behalf. Timberlake underwent a field sobriety test but declined the breathalyzer. Despite murmuring concerns about his tour being affected, he cooperated during the arrest process and displayed no entitlement, according to witnesses. Timberlake faces charges including failing to stay in his lane, disregarding a stop sign, and driving while intoxicated (DWI). His tour, "The Forget Tomorrow World Tour," which began in April and concludes in December, continues amidst the legal proceedings. A DWI is similar to DUI and OWI, depending on state definitions, typically indicating driving with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) exceeding legal limits.
