On June 18, 2024, BLACKPINK's Rosé officially signed a management contract with The Black Label, helmed by longtime producer Teddy Park. The announcement, confirmed by The Black Label to SportsWorldi via Soompi, emphasized the deep trust between Teddy Park and Rosé. Known for producing BLACKPINK's major hits like 'Pink Venom' and 'Kill This Love', Teddy Park also contributed to Rosé's solo debut album 'R'.
Rosé, the only BLACKPINK member not to establish her own label after the group's departure from YG Entertainment, is preparing to engage in global music activities with support from a global record label. The Black Label, home to artists such as Jeon Somi and Taeyang, aims to facilitate Rosé's ventures across various fields.
While fellow members Jisoo, Lisa, and Jennie have launched their solo companies, Rosé's move marks a significant step in her solo career under The Black Label's wing.
