Donna Summer's estate has filed a lawsuit against Kanye West, accusing him of "blatant theft" of parts of her hit song "I Feel Love" for his album "Vultures 1." Despite the estate's denial of clearance for the sample, West and collaborator Ty Dolla $ign allegedly used recognizable portions of the song in their track "Good (Don’t Die)." Court documents claim that West's controversial history influenced the estate's decision. The lawsuit seeks maximum damages of $150,000 for each act of infringement. Summer, a Grammy-winning artist, passed away in 2012, but her legacy remains influential. West and Dolla $ign's representatives have not yet commented on the allegations.
