Kanye West demanded that disabled fans stand up during a concert on Friday (September 12).

The embarrassing incident took place during a show in Sydney, as part of his Yeezus tour. The rapper said: "I decided I can't do this song, I can't do the rest of the show until everybody stands up."

West then singled out two crowd members who remained sitting down, and refused to perform until they stood up.

The rapper didn't realize, however, that the fans in question were wheelchair users.

"This is the longest I've had to wait to do a song, it's unbelievable," he said, causing unaware crowd members to boo the disabled fans.

West discovered they were both wheelchair users, before launching into a performance of 'Good Life'.

The rapper was taken to hospital with a migraine while on tour in Australia on Wednesday, September 10.

Kanye West recently hit back at critics of his wife Kim Kardashian West after she was named Woman of the Year by GQ at a ceremony in London.

He also previewed a new track called 'Awesome' earlier in September, on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
