Rumors surrounding celebrities can often be as intriguing as they are outlandish. One such rumor recently made headlines, suggesting that global superstar Beyoncé travels with her own custom-made toilet seats. However, Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, has now set the record straight.
During a chance encounter at the Los Angeles International Airport, she laughed off the viral theory. When questioned about backstage photos from Beyoncé's "Renaissance" tour that depicted a large black box labeled "Beyoncé ... toilet seats," Knowles responded, "That’s so ridiculous," and couldn't help but chuckle. She then went on to address the extravagant claim, stating, "That’s too much."
Knowles, at last, shed light on the true contents of the enigmatic box. Contrary to the speculation, she revealed, “Those are stands that you put fans on.” Interestingly, they're humorously referred to as 'toilet seats.'
While the rumor mill churned out reports of the pop icon spending a hefty sum on personalized WC seats, Knowles' revelation seems to put an end to the fanciful speculation. According to a source cited earlier this month, "Beyoncé is such an elite performer she can literally request anything. Her team makes great effort to ensure she has her own comforts, and a personal toilet seat happens to be one."
Media outlets have reached out to representatives for both Knowles and Beyoncé for further comment, but as of now, it seems that the myth of the superstar's extravagant bathroom requests has been laid to rest.
