The 32-year-old singer-songwriter was scheduled to perform at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, but the show was unexpectedly canceled, with Ed reportedly making the announcement just hours before he was set to take the stage. He later shared additional information about the situation in a follow-up Instagram post on Sunday. In this post, he included a partial article mentioning a "flooring problem" at the Nevada venue.

The article suggested that the issue was detected during the soundcheck, where rubber tiling had come loose, leading to the movement of two structures at the venue overnight.

Ed clarified in his Instagram post: "Here's some more background on the cancellation from yesterday. It was primarily a safety concern, and we made every effort to proceed with the show. However, I won't compromise the safety of my fans for anything."
