In a recent interview, the 27-year-old singer and rapper, known as Doja Cat, shared that she values it when her fans stand up for meaningful causes on social media.
When asked if she finds inspiration from others, Doja Cat, whose real name is Amala Dlamini, expressed her fondness for positive feedback. She stated, "I really like it when people come forward to support someone who's being bullied or attacked online... Some of the most impactful moments for me have been when my fans have stood up for me or for others. That's fighting for something important."
During the interview, Doja also discussed her upcoming album, "Scarlet," set to release next month. She described the album as a blend of introspection and enjoyable tunes. She mentioned, "This new album looks more into my thoughts, but I'm making sure it stays interesting. I want to share stories and create catchy tracks. It's a mix of both elements."
Doja Cat has a busy schedule ahead, with plans to perform in 24 concerts across the United States in the coming months. The tour kicks off in San Francisco on October 31st and wraps up in Chicago on December 13th.
