BRITNEY SPEARS AIMS TO MEND FENCES WITH FATHER AMIDST DIVORCE DRAMA WITH SAM ASGHARI

Britney Spears is looking to mend her relationship with her father, nearly two years after her controversial conservatorship ended. The 41-year-old popstar is worried about her father Jamie Spears' health and doesn't want to miss the chance to reconnect. Britney's brother Bryan has been updating her on Jamie's health struggles, which stem from a knee replacement surgery 16 years ago.

Reportedly, Jamie is excited about the possibility of rebuilding a friendship with his daughter and holds no grudges after their legal battles. Currently, Britney is only in touch with her brother, as the rest of her family is concerned for her well-being following her split from husband Sam Asghari. She continues to face a legal fight with her father, whom she's suing for conservatorship abuse.

Jamie has defended his actions by stating that the conservatorship was necessary to save Britney's life. Recently, Britney has once again become distant from her entire family after briefly reconciling earlier this year. She reportedly made amends with her mother Lynne and sister Jamie Lynn, removing hurtful content from her memoir, The Woman In Me.

According to a close source, Britney had expressed her frustration in the book about how her family managed her 13-year conservatorship. However, she has since decided to let go of these negative feelings and removed the harshest parts of the memoir. This is an effort to mend her relationship with her mother Lynne (68) and sister Jamie Lynn (32). The decision to edit the content was entirely Britney's and not at the request of Lynne or Jamie Lynn.
