In a recent interview with W Magazine, Kaley Cuoco's boyfriend, Tom Pelphrey, admitted to an amusing situation. Before he started dating Kaley, he hadn't watched a single episode of "The Big Bang Theory," the show she starred in.

Tom, known for his role in "Ozark," shared that he was living in a remote area in upstate New York with limited Wi-Fi, so he wasn't up-to-date with modern shows. Kaley, however, changed that for him. She introduced him to a more contemporary entertainment scene.

Here's where it gets funny: When Tom introduced Kaley to his family and friends, someone in his inner circle kept calling her "Penny." Perplexed, Tom didn't understand why. Eventually, he approached Kaley and asked her about it. That's when he learned that "Penny" was her character's name on "The Big Bang Theory." He was completely clueless about her TV role.

 Since then, Tom has watched a few episodes of the show with Kaley and realized how fantastic she is in it. Kaley played the role of Penny, the friendly girl-next-door character, throughout all 12 seasons of "Big Bang." The show concluded its successful run in 2019. Kaley also made a surprise voice cameo on "Young Sheldon" in 2020. Since her "Big Bang" days, she has gone on to lead shows like "The Flight Attendant" and "Based on a True Story."
