GOAL KING MESSI STRIKES AGAIN: INTER MIAMI DOMINATES, SECURES SEMIS IN LEAGUES CUP!

Inter Miami, under the inspiring leadership of their new captain Lionel Messi, showcased their transformation on Friday night with a commanding 4-0 victory over Charlotte FC.

After enduring a challenging streak of 11 winless games before Messi's arrival, Miami's fortunes have drastically turned around, securing five consecutive wins – one of which was achieved through a penalty shootout – since the introduction of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

Remarkably, Messi has found the back of the net in all five of these victories.

In the recent triumph, goals were contributed by Josef Martinez, Robert Taylor, and an unfortunate Adilson Malanda own goal, before Messi sealed the deal with a late strike. This impressive win secured Miami's spot in the semi-finals of the Leagues Cup.

Looking ahead, Messi and his teammates are set to face Philadelphia Union on Tuesday. The victor of that match will then proceed to the final, where they will meet either Monterrey or Nashville SC on Saturday.

The action kicked off with Miami taking the lead in the 12th minute, courtesy of a penalty converted by Martinez. Taylor then extended his successful streak in front of the goal, making it 2-0 shortly after the 30-minute mark, thanks to an assist from DeAndre Yedlin.

Although Charlotte came out strong in the second half and posed threats, Miami solidified their victory by securing another goal in the 78th minute.
