Offset has revealed that he and his wife Cardi B don't often release collaborations because they are very critical of each other's work. Despite having a few joint projects, such as their latest track 'Jealousy,' Offset, a former member of Migos, shared that although they bring great energy when working together, they hold high standards and are tough critics of their own music.

Speaking on 'Good Morning America,' the 31-year-old rapper stated, “Me and her got great energy. We don't really put a lot of records out because we're very hard on each other about the records."

Offset is equally meticulous about his solo music, including his upcoming second solo album, which follows his 2019 release 'Father of 4.' He emphasized that he took his time to ensure perfection: “I didn't rush it. I love y'all, but I didn't rush it because I want it to be perfect."

He recently reflected on his journey as a solo artist after departing from Migos. Offset acknowledged the need to understand himself better before unveiling his solo plans: “This is me going full-fledged into my solo career. The objective is to do it fully and make a significant impact as a solo artist. It's my time."

Offset, who shares children with Cardi B, emphasized the importance of patience and self-discovery in his artistic process: “Sometimes you gotta sit back and not rush. I really wanted to drop the album like two years ago, but it wasn’t time. I had to master who I was, and I got it now.”
