There was a time when Drake said he wasn't hiding his child from the world, but rather protecting his child from the world's attention. After the initial commotion following the revelation of his son Adonis, amid conflicts with Pusha T, the Canadian superstar has clearly grown as a parent. Their relationship now appears very positive and heartwarming in the eyes of the public, often seen together at NBA games and other outings. Recently, Drake took his affection for Adonis a step further: he decided to show it everywhere he goes.
Drake got a tattoo of Adonis' name on the back of his neck, which fans noticed recently. Pictures of the new tattoo emerged around Monday (August 7), warming the hearts of fans while not exactly surprising them. After all, as of May, he already had more than 55 tattoos, according to a count by Pop Sugar. This isn't the first time he's used tattoos to express his love, as he already has a portrait of his five-year-old on his back.
Of course, a tattoo can't replace the feeling of having your child with you. However, this new ink might symbolize that Drake, the OVO mogul, feels a little closer to Adonis when they're apart. It's not like they don't spend time together frequently, though, as Drake often captures special moments they share. Just recently, he posted a photo of Adonis and his mother, Sophie Brusseaux, for Mother's Day. He's also shown love and appreciation for his own mother, Sandi Graham, sharing their family bond.
