DUA LIPA HIT "LEVITATING" FACES £15 MILLION COPYRIGHT BATTLE!

Dua Lipa, the singing superstar, is facing a hefty £15 million copyright claim over her hit track "Levitating." Music producer Bosco Kante has filed a le gal action, alleging that Dua Lipa used his mobile talk box technology without permission in remixes of the song.

According to the documents, Kante claims he was approached to create and perform a talk box performance for the original recording of "Levitating," which was permitted. However, he alleges that the ElectroSpit talk box, which belongs to him, was also used in subsequent remixes, including the popular versions featuring Madonna, Missy Elliott, and DaBaby.

The DaBaby remix, in particular, has garnered over 1.6 billion plays on Spotify, contributing to the significant claim amounting to more than £15 million. Kante states that he tried to resolve the matter without litigation but was met with unwillingness from Dua Lipa and her label, Warner Music Group.

As of now, both Dua Lipa and Warner Music Group have not made any public statements regarding the lawsuit. The legal battle over the alleged unauthorized use of the talk box technology remains ongoing in Los Angeles.
