The 33-year-old athlete revealed on his podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, that he attempted to meet the pop star, who is also 33, at one of her shows. However, Taylor Swift maintains tight security backstage, and even being a Super Bowl winner didn't grant him an exception.

Kelce shared his feelings, saying, "I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings." He also expressed being "a little butthurt" because he couldn't fulfill his plan to give Taylor a personalized bracelet he had made for her. It seems his attempt to connect with the singer didn't go as he had hoped during what he described as a "Cruel Summer."
