PETE DAVIDSON'S CRASH CASE RESOLUTION: F.D.N.Y. COMMUNITY SERVICE IN THE WORKS!

Former "Saturday Night Live" star, Pete Davidson, found himself facing a reckless driving charge in California. To settle the matter, he has agreed to do community service with the New York Fire Department, as revealed by officials on Monday.

Pete Davidson, a comedian and actor, hails from Staten Island and holds a personal connection to the FDNY as his father, Scott, was a firefighter who tragically lost his life while responding to the September 11, 2001, World Trade Center attacks. This deeply emotional experience also influenced Pete's 2020 movie, "The King of Staten Island."

The reckless driving incident, a misdemeanor, occurred when Mr. Davidson crashed a Mercedes-Benz into a house near Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills back in March. Luckily, no one was injured in the accident. Now, following a court hearing on July 19, Pete has been placed in an 18-month diversion program. As part of the program, he must pay restitution, attend 12 hours of traffic school, visit a morgue to understand the consequences of reckless driving, and complete 50 hours of community service.
