Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, has made a significant rebranding move for the social media platform. The iconic bird logo of Twitter has been replaced with an "X," symbolizing a major shift under Musk's ownership.
While the website Twitter.com remains the same, the app version of the platform also seems unchanged. However, the well-known bird logo has been transformed into the new "X" logo.
Musk teased the change with a video of a flickering "X" on Sunday, and he confirmed the logo switch in a Twitter Spaces audio chat. He expressed that the idea behind the "X" logo was to represent the uniqueness found in all of us, embracing our imperfections.
This rebranding effort marks another significant transformation since Musk acquired Twitter for $44 billion last year. In April, he had already changed the company's name from Twitter Inc. to X Corp, signifying his determination to bring fresh changes and innovations to the platform.
