Mel C, the former Spice Girl, has teamed up with a group of pop stars to record the Lionesses' World Cup song. The 49-year-old singer, who is also a mom, collaborated with 11 other artists, including Self Esteem and Olivia Dean, to create the song titled "Call Me A Lioness." The group of artists is known as Hope FC.
The song "Call Me A Lioness" was released today, just before the tournament begins, and its proceeds will go to charities supporting grassroots girls' and women's football.
Mel C expressed her excitement and honor to be part of the eagerly anticipated track. She mentioned how incredible it has been to witness the rising popularity of women's football, and last year's remarkable win by the team served as a major inspiration for this new song dedicated to the World Cup.

The song "Call Me A Lioness" features a lineup of talented artists, including Wolf Alice's Ellie Rowsell, Al Greenwood from Sports Team, Marika Hackman, Rachel Chinouriri, Shura, Jasmine Jethwa, Rose Gray, and Highlyy. They have all joined forces to show their support for the team and the future of women's football.
