Famous supermodel Gigi Hadid, who's renowned for her glamorous life and thriving career, got into legal trouble during her vacation with friends in the Cayman Islands. The 28-year-old was arrested on July 10 at Owen Roberts International Airport when Customs & Border Control agents discovered marijuana and related items in her luggage.

Leah Nicole McCarthy, Gigi Hadid's friend, also faced arrest on similar charges.

However, the authorities discovered only small amounts of the substance, which suggested that it was likely for personal use.

After their arrest, both Hadid and McCarthy were held at the Prisoner Detention Centre before being released on bail.

On July 12, during their court hearing, the two celebrities admitted to charges and as a consequence, they were fined $1,000 each.
