MARK ZUCKERBERG BREAKS TWITTER SILENCE AFTER 11 YEARS WITH WITTY JAB AT MUSK'S EXPENSE!

After an 11-year Twitter silence, Mark Zuckerberg made a comeback with a light-hearted dig at Elon Musk. The timing was perfect, as Zuckerberg's Meta Platforms Inc. launched Threads, a highly anticipated alternative to Twitter. With Meta's Instagram stepping up as a formidable rival to Musk's struggling social media platform, Zuckerberg cleverly tweeted a photo featuring two Spider-Men locked in a face-off, symbolizing the competitive clash between the two tech giants.

Mark Zuckerberg's recent tweet, which appears to be his first since 2012, marks a rare occurrence for the Meta founder, who doesn't frequently post on Twitter. Interestingly, this tweet came just two weeks after Elon Musk playfully challenged Zuckerberg to a cage fight. Musk swiftly responded with his own witty comeback, targeting Instagram, a platform owned by Meta.

Meanwhile, Threads, the new offering from Meta's Instagram, is taking advantage of Twitter's recent series of missteps. Since Musk's acquisition of Twitter for a whopping $44 billion in October, the company has undergone significant changes, including mass layoffs, relaxed content moderation policies, and a host of technical difficulties that affected users and advertisers.

In a recent controversial move, Twitter implemented a temporary limit on the number of daily tweets users can view. Musk referred to this measure as a means to combat data scrapers and bots.

“There should be a public conversations app with 1 billion-plus people on it,” Zuckerberg said in a post on Threads. “Twitter has had the opportunity to do this but hasn’t nailed it. Hopefully we will.”
