MICHELLE WILLIAMS OF DESTINY'S CHILD TALKS ABOUT THEIR ULTIMATE ALBUM AND POTENTIAL REUNION: 'THE GATEWAY AWAITS'

In a recent interview, Michelle Williams, a member of the renowned girl group Destiny's Child, reflected on their incredible journey and expressed her openness to a potential reunion. During the YouTube series, the talented 43-year-old singer, who hails from Illinois, revealed that she firmly believes the possibility of creating another album together is within reach. She confidently stated, "If we should desire to embark on another album, I am certain that the opportunity is available for us."

Furthermore, Michelle Williams expressed her desire for consistent collaboration with her Destiny's Child bandmates, Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland. She shared her preference, saying, "In an ideal scenario, we would continue alternating between group projects and individual pursuits. We would maintain the dynamic of being a group, then pursuing our solo endeavors, and returning to collaborate as a group again."

Destiny's Child originally consisted of four members: Beyoncé, Kelly, LaTavia, and LeToya. They made their debut with a self-titled album in 1998. Kelly began performing with Beyoncé in 1990 when they were just 9 years old, as part of the Houston-based group called Girl's Tyme.

However, after the successful release of their second album, "The Writings On The Wall," which achieved 8x platinum status, LaTavia and LeToya were removed from the group. Michelle then joined Destiny's Child in 2000. With hit songs like "Survivor," "Soldier," and "Cater 2 U," Destiny's Child became even more popular. However, in 2006, the group decided to take a hiatus.

Over the years, there have been reunions of Destiny's Child, including their memorable performance at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2013 and their reunion at Coachella in 2018.
