In 2012, fans bid farewell to Daniel Radcliffe's portrayal of Harry Potter in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2." While the Wizarding World expanded with the Fantastic Beasts films, fans still hoped for more insights into the beloved wizard's story. Recently, HBO confirmed their plans to develop a TV series based on the books, raising questions about potential cameos by Radcliffe. However, he believes it's unlikely to happen, as the new series aims to establish its own identity separate from the popular films.
Radcliffe clarified in an interview that he understands the creators of the new Harry Potter TV series are aiming to start fresh and make their own mark on the story. He doesn't anticipate being offered a cameo as the older Harry Potter character, and he isn't actively seeking such an opportunity. Radcliffe expressed his support and excitement for the new series and believes that it doesn't necessarily require his physical involvement.
Regarding the Fantastic Beasts film series, Warner Bros. initially planned to release a total of five films. However, due to the mixed reception of the first three movies, Warner Bros. has put a pause on further development. The timeline for delivering a new Harry Potter series remains uncertain, especially considering the potential impact of the writers' strike.
