BEHIND THE SCENES OF THE BARBIE SET: MARGOT ROBBIE'S BODY DOUBLE SPILLS THE BEANS

Emma Eastwood, a rising actress, has shared her firsthand experience working as Margot Robbie's body double in the highly anticipated Barbie movie. Despite initially auditioning twice to be an extra in the film and being rejected, Emma received a surprising text from a casting director, offering her the opportunity to step into the role as the double for the esteemed Oscar-nominated actress.

Thanks to sharing Margot Robbie's height and hair color, Emma seamlessly filled in as her body double, assisting with scenes where Margot's face wasn't required or aiding in lighting setups for production. Emma disclosed that she was provided with her own trailer and received star treatment, enjoying generous perks while working on the Greta Gerwig-directed Barbie film.

Despite the luxurious treatment, Emma's role as Margot Robbie's body double required hard work, necessitating early mornings to arrive on set by 6 am. In order to maintain secrecy surrounding the highly anticipated movie's plot, even Emma was kept in the dark about the specific scenes she would be involved in. However, she would often sense the significance of a day based on the presence of the entire cast.

"The production team never provided me with any details about our activities," Emma shared with the New York Times. "There were a few occasions when they mentioned that the entire cast would be present, indicating an important day. However, they only revealed the specifics once I was actually on set."

Emma took to Twitter to express her experience of working alongside Margot Robbie, even though their scenes rarely coincided.
