Cardi B voiced her thoughts, saying, "So, there's this billionaire who's missing underwater on some submarine stuff... And guess what? His stepson is at a Blink-182 concert." She questioned the response, saying, "People are asking, 'What is he supposed to do, stay home and be sad?' Yes, he should be at home feeling sad."

In response to Cardi B's comments, Szasz took to social media to defend himself and share his perspective on the situation.Addressing Cardi B directly, Szasz wrote, "Attending the Blink-182 concert was my way of finding solace instead of constantly watching the news at home.”
