The couple, with Lavigne aged 38 and Tyga aged 33, were first spotted together on February 19, where they were seen embracing after enjoying a meal at Nobu.

Initially, they were simply friends and nothing more. However, just a few days later, it was confirmed that Lavigne's engagement to musician Mod Sun had ended less than a year after he proposed to her in Paris.
