Despite the fact that Hailey, 26, and Selena, 30, still follow each other on Instagram, fans of Hailey were not as kind in the comments section. While Hailey herself liked Selena's most recent post titled 'Crazy about you Paris,' the comments directed at Selena were quite negative.

Selena's Instagram slideshow received a significant number of comments attacking her, accusing her of playing the victim, being jealous of Bieber, and even imitating her style. One commenter went as far as to say, "Justin left you for a reason."

In an Instagram story on Monday, Hailey made it clear that she does not endorse or tolerate hateful, mean, or nasty comments. She stated, "Just know that I don't want that, nor do I ever or will I ever support or condone hateful, mean, or nasty comments." Hailey urged her followers to be kind and emphasized that participating in such behavior goes against the supportive culture she advocates for.
