Billie Eilish has grown tired of facing criticism for her style choices. Going from a teenager known for wearing baggy clothes to becoming a fashion sensation at the Met Gala has attracted negative attention from social media haters.
In response, the 21-year-old Eilish took to Instagram Stories over the weekend to address the issue. Alongside a close-up picture of her face, she expressed her frustration, saying, "For the first five years of my career, you fools absolutely tore me apart for being tomboyish and dressing the way I did. I was constantly told I'd be more attractive if I conformed to traditional feminine norms. But now, when I feel comfortable enough to embrace anything remotely feminine or form-fitting, I'm suddenly a sellout."
Eilish didn't hold back in her criticism, referring to her critics as "bozos" and calling them out as "true idiots" who should "let women rest." In another post, she highlighted the fact that women are multifaceted and can have interests in various areas. She emphasized that femininity does not equate to weakness, expressing her astonishment at the notion that women can't express themselves differently at different times.
In a final Instagram Story, Eilish's frustration escalated, leading her to use profane language. She boldly stated, "To all you women-hating weirdos, suck my absolute c— and b—-."
