Paris Hilton has claimed that she is one of the world's highest-paid DJs.

The reality television star has recently been making a name for herself DJing at the Amnesia nightclub in Ibiza.

When asked how lucrative her new career choice was, Hilton told TMZ: "I love it. I'm one of the top five in the world."

The owner of Amnesia, where Hilton has been spinning the decks at their 'Foam & Diamonds' parties, has signed her up for a contract that will see her return in 2014.

He said: "The number of people attending kept on growing and the positive word of mouth in Ibiza was just phenomenal."

Forbes magazine recently put together a list of the top five highest-earning DJs, with Calvin Harris coming out top.

He was followed on the countdown by Tiësto, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia and Deadmau5.
