Vin Diesel is not ready to bid farewell to his Fast & Furious family, and he's got a heartwarming reason for it.
The 55-year-old actor, known for his iconic role as Dominic "Dom" Toretto, has been a part of the high-octane series for over 20 years and 10 films. In a recent interview, Vin shared why he's hesitant to declare an end to the franchise.
In a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, Vin revealed that his love for the franchise plays a significant role in his decision. He recalled a touching moment with his daughter, where he mentioned that a particular film would be the last one. However, all he saw were tears, prompting him to be cautious about making such statements.
"The last time I told my daughter [it] was the last one, all I saw was tears," Vin confessed. "So I gotta be really careful [about] who and what I say."
Vin also emphasized the importance of the cast in his decision. He expressed his admiration for the talented ensemble and highlighted the loving atmosphere they foster on set.
"We have such a great cast," Vin enthused. "We lead with love. We try to create an environment where people can do their best work. That's all actors really want, is to feel as though they're supported to create unique characters. Characters that last forever, and you see that in this franchise."
It's evident that Vin's dedication to the Fast & Furious franchise stems from both his personal connections and the camaraderie among the cast members. With such heartfelt sentiments and a commitment to creating enduring characters, it's no wonder Vin Diesel is reluctant to say goodbye to the beloved series.
