Miley Cyrus has decided that the grand touring life is not for her, following her 2014 adventure.
In an interview with British Vogue, the "Flowers" singer opened up about her choice not to embark on traditional tours in support of her last four albums: Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz, Younger Now, Plastic Hearts, and Endless Summer Vacation.
Since her worldwide Bangerz tour back in 2014, Miley has opted for mini-tours and festival performances instead. She made it clear that she has no interest in going on those massive, months-long treks anymore.
"After my last headline arena show in 2014, I really questioned it. And I can't. And by 'can't,' I mean not only can't because of my capabilities, but also because of my desire," she explained.
"Do I want to live my life solely for the pleasure and fulfillment of others? Singing for hundreds of thousands of people isn't my true passion. There's no connection. There's no sense of security. It's just not natural. In fact, it's quite isolating because when you're in front of 100,000 people, you still feel alone."
Miley also shared that she experiences chronic pain and inflammation, and too much stimuli can worsen her condition. She recalled attending industry events after her latest album release and feeling the negative effects on her well-being.
"I was in a lot of pain... I was thrown back into the pop star lifestyle, and I noticed that I had a flare-up," she revealed.
So, what does Miley's current lifestyle look like? Well, don't expect to see her on a stadium stage anytime soon. She prefers to spend her time strolling through rose gardens or visiting museums with her friends. It's all about finding joy in simpler moments and embracing her evolution.
"I'm not trying to be too serious. You're more likely to catch me and my friends literally walking through rose gardens or going to a museum. It's about enjoying life. I'm just evolving," the 30-year-old artist concluded.
