Vin Diesel, star of the Fast and Furious franchise, has recently revealed that the upcoming Fast X film will be the first chapter of a new trilogy. Fans had originally believed that Fast X was the conclusion of a two-part finale, but it appears that Universal wants to continue the series with even more thrilling racing scenes.
For the past twenty two years, the Fast & Furious franchise has captured audiences with its unique blend of high-speed chases and heartwarming stories about a family of honorable outlaws. While the saga is coming to a close with Justin Lin directing the two-part finale, there have been reports of creative differences between Lin and Diesel, resulting in Lin's departure from the project.
Fortunately, Louis Leterrier has taken over as director and has done an incredible job steering the franchise towards the high-octane storytelling fans crave. The trailers for Fast X are already breathtaking, and Leterrier's work has impressed Universal so much that he has been asked to direct Fast 11 as well.
Now, with the news of a new trilogy, fans have even more to look forward to with Fast X. It's clear that Leterrier's vision has breathed new life into the franchise and we can't wait to see what he has in store for the next two films. Get ready for more mind-blowing racing scenes and emotional moments with your favorite Fast Family!
