It seems like the Jonas Brothers might be feeling a bit bashful when it comes to singing about romance with each other. In their upcoming album 'The Album', the trio - consisting of Kevin, Joe, and Nick - touch on some intimate topics, including a saucy track called 'Summer in the Hamptons', where they croon, "______ with you is like...".
During an interview with Bustle, Kevin mentioned that it's only natural for them to draw inspiration from their personal experiences, including Kevin's wife, who he's been partnered with for 13 years. However, Nick added that it can get a little uncomfortable at times since they're three siblings on stage together. When it comes to racy subjects like intimacy, they try to keep it subtle, so it doesn't get too weird.
Interestingly, the Jonas Brothers drew inspiration from the Bee Gees while creating this album. The Bee Gees were a huge influence on their lives, and they grew up listening to their music with their dad. As three brothers in a band, the Jonas Brothers could relate to the Bee Gees' dynamics.
As for their favorite song on the record, Nick had a tough time choosing between two tracks. The first one is called 'Little Bird', a song about parenthood that's sure to tug at people's heartstrings. The other one is called 'Waffle House', a last-minute addition that Nick initially found confusing, but he eventually fell in love with it. It's a fun song that captures a moment in time for the Jonas Brothers, musically inspired by Nick's favorite bands like the Doobie Brothers and Bee Gees.
We can't wait to hear 'The Album', which is set to be released on May 12th, 2023. It's the follow-up to their 2019 album 'Happiness Begins', and we're sure it's going to be another chart-topping hit for the Jonas Brothers!
