GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL: 03 REVIEW!

Amidst Marvel's recent kaleidoscope of interwoven multiverse mayhem, the Guardians of the Galaxy movies have always danced to their own delightfully quirky beat. And with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (possibly the grand finale of the series), that beat continues, nodding to the Guardians' irreverent swagger while delivering an emotional rollercoaster that'll leave you laughing, crying, and scratching your head in the best possible way.

Director and co-writer James Gunn takes a wild, heartstring-tugging path, featuring perilous predicaments for adorable animals, delving into Rocket the raccoon's twisted backstory, and diving headfirst into unexpected dark corners like eugenics and vivisection. It's like Bong Joon-ho's Okja crashed into a party celebrating loyalty, friendship, and humanity's capacity for both incredible kindness and unimaginable cruelty to other species.

Picture this: Rocket, the ridiculously cute ball of fur voiced by Bradley Cooper, finds himself in the clutches of the High Evolutionary (played by the charismatic Chukwudi Iwuji), a mad scientist with a God complex and a flair for macabre animal testing. But fear not, Rocket stages a daring escape, only to be separated from his soulmate, Lylla (the lovely Linda Cardellini), an otter with a heart of gold and metal arms that add a touch of eccentricity to her aquatic adventures. Now, the High Evolutionary wants his prized raccoon back, and he sends the stunningly clueless Adam Warlock (the wonderfully entertaining Will Poulter) to retrieve him.

Get ready for a groovy explosion of classic rock jams and mind-bending, snake-like action sequences—two things the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise is known for. Brace yourself for a story that's bursting at the seams with mischief, humor, and a whole lot of heart. Sure, it might feel like a cosmic jigsaw puzzle at times, but that's all part of the quirk-tastic charm. So, buckle up and prepare for a wild, whimsical ride that'll leave you grinning from ear to ear.
