Lorde has reportedly rejected a collaboration with David Guetta.

The New Zealand-born singer described the French DJ as "so gross" in a profile by FasterLouder.

Lorde was informed by her manager Scott Maclachlan that Guetta had expressed an interest in working with her on his next studio album.

"No," she replied. "No. He's so gross."

It is not the first time that the 'Royals' singer has criticized a fellow artist. She recently called Gomez's song 'Come & Get It' anti-feminist, at which Gomez later hit back by saying: "It's not feminism if you're tearing down another artist."

The 16-year-old is also adamant she won't let fame affect her like Britney Spears and the late Amy Winehouse.

"Six months ago, no-one knew who I was and now fans chase my car," she said.

"But I'm never going to change or let fame get the better of me. I'll never go off the rails like Britney or do an Amy - because my upbringing was so normal."
