Tom Ford has cemented his mark in the fashion industry & in fashion history as one of the keenest eyes out there, for both clothes as well as people. He in fact has single handedly set certain standards in beauty himself, looking the way his gorgeous 61-year-old self does.

He was recently asked about modern beauty standards and what he thinks of them. He was asked whether society has gone too far with beauty and if they’re pushed the bar to an unsalvageable extent.

In response to this he made the statement: “people are injecting way too many things in their face…You look at a lot of celebrities now and you just think ‘Oh my God, what do they see when they look in the mirror?” he continued with “they don’t even look like themselves any longer.”.

He in fact agrees that we’ve taken “beauty” too far saying it’s pretty much dysmorphia at this point that humans don’t really remember what out real faces look like and natural beauty is becoming scares in the world.

“It is truly dysmorphia. I think a lot of these people lose touch with who they were; they see a line and they think they have to fill it; they see a wrinkle and they’ve got to fill it; They see someone else’s mouth and they think they need to have that,”
