Fantastic Four to date stands as many a person’s introduction to Marvel & the MCU. The Fantastic Quartette includes the ever dashing Mr. Fantastic, The Thing, The Invisible Woman and her good-for-nothing pretty brother The Human Torch. Over the years Marvel have released many movie adaptations of the superhero squad, including 2005’s F4 starring Ioan Gruffudd, Michael Chiklis, Jessica Alba & Chris Evans they were also the stars of the sequel: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

2015 saw them take a bit of a different angle casting a whole new set of faces including Miles Teller, Jamie Bell, Kate Mara & Michael B Jordan and Toby Kebbell as their life long nemesis Dr. Victor Von Doom.

And of course not forgetting John Krasinski’s portrayal of Mr. Fantastic in Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Well now it looks like Marvel is ready to venture again into the universe of F4! Although they are are definitely taking a much more different take from their previous adaptations! The most notable one being the casting! They’ve got their eyes set on a demographic of actors (albeit A-List) much other than your typical four faces of The Fantastic!

Mila Kunis was in the running to play Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman along with 3 other actresses, Vanessa Kirby, Allison Williams & Jodie Comer. The youngest of the pick being 30 (Comer) & oldest being Kunis at 40.

Which puts her at a whole 16 years ahead of Alba’s Sue Storm when was just 24 when she took on the character.

Turns out the entire rumor about Kunis in the front for Sue Storm was brought on by her heading out for lunch with a friend!

“Apparently, if you go to lunch with somebody that is also in the industry, you are then working with each other, according to the Internet. We went out to a deli and had lunch together. And then, the next day, I was somehow in Fantastic Four.” She continued “I am not in Fantastic Four, but I know who is,” but refused to share any names as she’s get in trouble with Disney who owns the rights to Marvel.
