It’s curtain calls for Queen Charlotte as she’s ready to make her appearance on screens across the world.

The solo standing adaptation and prequel from the Bridgerton world “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story” (loosely based on real events) follows a young Queen Charlottle (India Amarteifio)and her betrothal to The King of England (Corey Mylchreest). The trailer starts with the brilliant line “there are worse fates than marring the King of England” which later becomes bespoken for the kind of love shared between our young royals.

With a stella meet-cute, ready-to-run bride and dotting charmer husband the story has the making of a love so great it might just send ol’ Shaky out of business. Ahead of the show's release, a new teaser has been released by the show’s official account giving fans a glimpse into the young monarch's relationship and it’s picture perfect. Seated on the throne is young King George with his new shiny wife Queen Charlotte as the human embodiment of love as they lovingly gaze into each other’s eyes (snoow!) Cementing the depth of their connection, the caption reads: "A love like this is rare indeed."

Of course it’s never rainbows and roses for too long and their cute little romantic world is quickly turned upside down. One thing viewers can always expect from Shonda RhImes is A. LOT. OF. DRAMA.

The prequel will also give fans the answers they’ve been waiting for for a long time, what happened to King George that ultimately lead to his tragic ending.

Queen Charlottle: A Bridgerton Story premieres on Netflix on May 4^th.
