Celebrities throughout history have been known for having insane diets.
The early 2000s saw the rise of heroin chic and while we as a society have come very far from the days of starving ourselves for beauty, you’d still find the rare extreme or two in the cracks of Hollywood.

The most recent one coming from our girl Valkyrie. Tessa Thompson who plays the beloved superhero was interviewed at the Vanity Fair Oscar After Party last night, and during the interview she said something that pretty much blew all of our minds. It’s not just what she said, it’s how nonchalantly she said it.

“I’ve never had a hamburger in my life,”

The interviewer Amelia Dimoldenberg from the internet fame of “Chicken Shop Date” was stopped short for word when Tessa fessed up to this, Thompson then followed that with


“I had an egg recently and I’ve never had one of them before” when Amelia stated “eggs are so cool” Thompson replied with “ I don’t think they’re great”

We’re all a little baffled at the statement and don’t quite know how to process any of it. Many people think she’s lying and find it pretty impossible to go almost 40 years without having tried a single hamburger not with America’s fast food epidemic.
