Ah yes the mean girls that raised a generation of strong empowered women!

If you were to ask any woman my age (so late twenties) which movie they related the most to growing up it probably won’t be 2004’s teen drama Mean Girls, but if you were to ask them which movie they would have liked to have relate to in their teens I’ll bet my bet my best socks that it’s Mean Girls!

Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried & Lacey Chabert lead a revolution. They created a little piece of millennial history and the memes based of their iconic movie has beat the test of time.

Mean Girls 2 has always been a hope for all girls who grew up loving the movie, but almost 20 years later there is no news about a sequel. But! Miss Karen Smith (Seyfriend) has taken it upon herself to cover some of the loop holes and reignite the fire for a stellar sequel.

In an interview the 36-year-old actress spoke about the possibility of revamping the series saying
“I’m still hoping for a miracle (but it’s) not really up to us, is it?”.

Although she did share that all of them are equally hopeful for a reunion stating that they are “100 percent into it. Maybe [we play] the mothers of our characters? That’s what I was thinking, but listen, I have not even seen the script.”

well what can be better than our mean girls mothering the next generation of trailblazers?!!
