Well one thing is for sure, Ellie never got tired of making any corny jokes in the midst of the apocalypse.

The game was able to capture hearts of over millions of fans with its compelling story, that dealt with tough subjects in regards to survival, humanity, doing what's good and the heart warming bond between the two main characters all led the game to have multiple DLC’s and a sequel game in 2020 Known as the Last of Us Pt 2
The popularity of the game allowed HBO executives to give the green light to begin production on the LAST OF US Televisions Series which premiered on January 15, 2023.But within its short span the show has garnered tons of praise and positive reviews ranking at 9.4/10 from IMDB.
The shows popularity could be attributed to how well it seems to have captured the essence of the video game and this has left many fans applauding the performances of the two main characters Ellie and Joel played by actors Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal Respectively.
