It is time to say good bye to a beloved mother figure from our childhood.

Kirstie Alley loved by many, deeply and widely has unfortunately passed away after her battle with

cancer at the age of 71.

Kirstie who's known for playing multiple iconic characters in movies that have without a doubt nurtured

generations ie. It Takes Two, Look Who's Talking 1 2 & 3, She's Having a Baby & Star Trek. She was

possibly most known for playing Rebecca Howe in the 80s sitcom 'Cheers'. 

 It was revealed by her children that it was only very recently Alley was diagnosed of Colon Cancer and was undergoing treatment in Tampa, Florida. But unfortunately she succumbed to her illness on 5^th December, her children shared the devastating news on their late mother’s Instagram account.

We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer, only recently discovered.

She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with a certainty of her never-ending joy of living and whatever adventures lie ahead. As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother.”
