BE WATER MY FRIEND
Is it possible for a person to be too hydrate to live?

World renowned Martial Artists & actor Bruce Lee who tragically passed away at the young age of 32 was believe to have succumbed to brain swelling. Now his sudden death is being reconsidered as there’s new focused studies saying that his brain was swollen not because of a concussion nor injury but due to over consumption of water. A study published in the December issue of Clinical Kidney Journal suggests that Bruce Lee drank more water than his body could handle, and his real cause of death was hyponatremia.

Lee was said to have injured his kidney in a martial arts accident but that didn’t stop the Californian native from over consuming fluids. He was said to have been a “chronic fluid intaker” that included alcohol and a juice-based diet.

“We hypothesize that Bruce Lee died from a specific form of kidney dysfunction: the inability to excrete enough water to maintain water homeostasis,” wrote the researchers from Autonomous University in Madrid.

Ironically, Lee made the quote ‘Be water my friend’ infamous, but water appears to have ultimately become his worst enemy.
