The Korean sensation that stole the hearts of millions no we’re not talking about BTS, we’re
talking about Hwang Dong-Hyuk’s Squid Game that cost $21million and has to-date grossed an
approximate $900 million in revenue has been renewed for a second season and is set to be
released by the end of next year.
Returning to the show is front runner Lee Jung-Jae along with the masked mastermind himself
Lee Byung-Hun and of course the man who started it all (and ended) Gong Yoo. There are also
rumors that the giant creepy doll in the series is based on a real little girl and although there isn’t
much revealed about her storyline, they have confirmed that she will be getting herself a
boyfriend Cheol-Soo, whether said boyfriend named is also a giant wooden mechanized doll is
up for question.
