Kim Kardashian has revealed that she and Kanye West are expecting a baby girl.

The socialite and reality TV personality confirmed recent speculation during the season premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians on Sunday (June 2).

"I'm so excited we're having a girl," said Kardashian. "Who doesn't want a girl? They're the best and I know that's really what Kanye has always wanted. He wanted a little girl."

Kardashian was filmed with mother Kris Jenner and sisters Khloe and Kourtney when she went to find out the gender of her first child. West did not appear on screen.

West and Kardashian said earlier this month that they are not engaged and have no plans to marry any time soon, following reports that the couple were gearing up for a summer wedding in Big Sur.
