In an interview she did recently on Diary of a CEO, Maisie Williams opened up about her childhood and experiencing trauma at the hands of her father. She spoke about how her, her mother, and siblings had a rocky relationship with her dad and how her mother escaped the relationship when Maisie was just 4 months old and she grew up between two households. She said “as a young child before the age of 8, ever since I can remember, I've really struggled sleeping. And I think a lot of the traumatic things that were happening, I didn't realize that they were wrong," "I had so many people who loved and cared about me so much, but I had never been asked the right questions where I could really say what was wrong."
