Seven years after the last Fantastic Four movie was released, there is now finally some stirring in the water about a new movie addition to the franchise! The addition is part of Phase 5 of the MCU, while not much has been released about the movie, fans are already abuzz with the news that production is in the safe hands of Marvel veteran Kevin Fiege. The news sits especially well given the writers being inexperienced in Hollywood. Jeff Kaplan who is a video game designer is teaming up with Ian Springer best known for Bert and Arnie’s Guide to Friendship as the writers for the Fantastic Four movie, they will later team up with Matt Shakman who shot to fame directing WandaVision, Game of Throne and The Great who will direct the movie.

While the cast has not been revealed yet, some fans are speculating that John Krasinski might be playing Mr. Fantastic after his part in Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. That theory was soon debunked by other fans stating that John Krasinski’s Mr. Fantastic was part of a different universe and not Earth-616 and the chances of him being in the new movie was zero-to-none.
