Last weekend Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd walked off stage mid-song (Can’t Feel My Face) and came back to announce that he has suddenly lost his voice and that he’ll be ending the show for the day and that the concert as of then is put on pause. "I can't give you the concert that I want to give you right now.” The Weeknd began “and I'll do a show real soon for you guys, but I wanted to come out and personally apologies” he later went on twitter and Instagram and apologized as well.

In an Instagram post yesterday he updated his fans of his current condition saying that his voice is currently on meds and he’s taking rest as his doctor as advised and that he’ll be ready to perform back at his hometown of Toronto on the 22^nd & 23^rd of September.

"Doctor says my voice is safe and with rest i’ll be solid and able to bring the show my TORONTO fans are waiting for," he wrote. "LA date is being worked out soon. thank you SO much for all the love and understanding that’s come my way. i love you all so much… XO."
