In the retelling of one of America’s deadliest serial killer stories you find struggling single mother Amy Loughren (Jessica Chastain) who in an Intensive Care Unit nurse who is barely getting by and Charlie Cullen (Eddy Redmayne) who seemingly happens to waltz into her life just when she really needed it the most.

While sharing long nights at the hospital, the two develop a strong and devoted friendship, and for the first time in years, Amy truly has faith in her and her young daughters' future. But after a series of mysterious deaths in their ward an investigation is set underway with all evidence pointing towards Charlie. Amy is now compelled to risk her life and the safety of her children and help the police capture and arrest Charlie.

The Good Nurse premiers at TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) this Sunday the 11^th of September and will be released worldwide on October 19^th.
