This is the Russo Bros' world and we're just living in it. 

Now that their highly anticipated action-thriller film The Gray Man has finally been released, Joe and Antony Russo are looking at newer waters for their next project. In an interview they did recently, the filmmaker brothers spoke about getting experimental and potentially entering the realm of musicals! And when asked who they'd like to work with they said none other than Mr. Abel Tesfaye himself! (better known as The Weeknd)

"I'd love to do a musical. In fact, we were talking to a few contemporary artists including The Weeknd about trying to get a musical off the ground,” Joe Russo said in the interview.

He further stated that he’d like the musical-film to be a bit "out there" and knowing how The Weeknd likes to include theatrics in his performances, he wound up in the top spot. "I'd love to work with someone who wants to do an experimental musical. I thought what he did during his Super Bowl show was awesome. I'd love to see that as a movie."
