Rihanna really showed up at the 2022 Met Gala the previous evening - only not in the manner fans anticipated.
First uncovered by Vogue magazine, the 34-year-old pregnant vocalist was deified, with her child knock, as a Greek sculpture!
The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, and Vogue collaborated together to respect Rihanna, by changing her new Vogue cover into a marble sculpture that honors the Greek goddess of harmony, considering the current year's Met Gala's Gilded Age subject.
"The sculpture of 'Eirene (The Personification of Peace)' is normally the most prominent marble goddess @themetmuseum Greco-Roman displays. However, presently we have @badgalriri, straight off the current month's Vogue cover," Vogue inscribed on their Instagram account, flaunting where the sculpture was put in the relics wing.
Rihanna additionally shared the video for her own, adding, "shut down the met in marble! what's more overlaid than that? Haha! Much obliged to you @metmuseum and @voguemagazine for this notable recognition! you all awful for this one!"
