Following a serious car accident, Jared Padalecki considers himself "lucky to be alive." The 39-year-old was supposed to attend a Supernatural fan convention on Sunday (April 24), but he was unable to attend due to a car accident.Jensen Ackles, Padalecki's co-star, revealed the reason for his absence, telling the audience, "He sends his love." I chatted with him the day before yesterday. He's disappointed that he won't be able to attend.""[Padalecki] was in a terrible vehicle accident," he continued. He wasn't behind the wheel. He was in the passenger seat and considers himself fortunate to be alive."
All 327 episodes of the blockbuster show's 15 seasons, which aired from 2005 to 2020, featured Ackles and Padelecki as on-screen brothers. Padalecki, who played Sam Winchester in Supernatural and previously played Dean in Gilmore Girls, is recuperating, according to the actor."That airbag has a lot of punch to it."
